Be respectful
No harassment, hate, threats, bullying, scams, impersonation, pressure or unwanted contact. Accept a declined request or someone's choice to leave an activity. Do not create new accounts to evade a block or suspension.
Keep personal information private
Do not publish phone numbers, precise home addresses, identity documents, private conversations or someone else's personal information. Share only content you have permission to share. Avoid posting photos of other people without their permission.
Choose an approximate public area for an activity. Use the accepted-member note for necessary meeting details, and avoid home addresses. The operator can access data to run and moderate the community; see Privacy & retention.
Plan activities responsibly
For a first meeting, use a public place, tell someone you trust, and leave if you feel uncomfortable. Organizers choose who joins and should keep dates, locations, group capacity and meeting notes accurate. Times in InterestMatch are UAE time (UTC+4).
Withdraw if you cannot attend. Organizers can edit or cancel their activities. Accepted membership does not guarantee a person's identity, qualifications or safety.
Groups around shared places
Suggest substantial shared or activity-focused places such as universities, gyms, malls, parks and attractions, with a clear description of what people can do there. Suggestions need operator review. These are community-run groups, not official venue channels unless a real affiliation is explicitly established. Joining is not proof of employment, study, admission or physical presence at a place.
Keep group chat relevant, respectful and free from spam. Delete your own message or report harmful messages from their controls. Venue entry conditions, opening times and activity bookings are separate from joining a group. Confirm current arrangements with the venue before going. Activity organizers decide who joins their activity; group membership alone does not reveal private meeting notes.
Identity and trust
InterestMatch does not verify identity. A complete profile, shared interests or provider sign-in is not proof of trustworthiness. Take your time getting to know people.
Report and block
Use Report on a profile, post or activity to tell the community operator about harmful behavior. Include relevant context without sending passwords, recovery codes or identity documents. Reports are private to the operator.
Use Block to hide a member immediately. Blocking hides each member from the other and cancels their connections and relevant activity requests. Unblocking does not restore old connections or places.
Operator decisions and help
The person operating the community reviews reports. They may hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Suspension ends access and cancels relevant activities, memberships and connections; reactivation does not automatically restore them.
This is not a staffed moderation team, live support or an emergency service. Reviews and actions may take time. For an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Members can send questions or requests about decisions through Contact operator.
